With a point reward card you will earn points for using your credit card, and these points can be redeemed for merchandise at your favorite store, gift cards, or even cash back. When I had one of these I would use it to redeem the points for a gas card, so in essence it was kind of like a gas credit cards with rewards for me.

I think everyone should at least have one credit card with gas rewards on it. Especially with gas prices going crazy, this credit card will help ease the pain at the pump a little. I received 5% cash back every time I used my credit card to buy gasoline. Now if you saw a gas station across the road that was almost 20 cents cheaper per gallon I am sure you would go there instead.

Again a rewards credit card for the busy vacationer, the hotel rewards credit card can help give you huge savings on your accommodation expenses. For the most part of these expenses may be tax write-offs anyway, but it still saves you money. Generally these cards couple hotel rewards with airline mile rewards so you get both with one card. My dad uses one of these and stays at no cost in hotels all the time.
